🔥 When the energy of the world or my space feels h 🔥 When the energy of the world or my space feels heavy I go to this powerful salt burn practice.

Cleanse your space, your energy, your timeline, your corner of the world.

The salt and fire helps clear stagnant energy after illness, an argument, decluttering, to clear a funky corner of your house that always feels off, or when world events bowl you over and you don’t know where to start.

Transmute all that, room by room. Open the energy up. Imagine what you are letting go of be consumed by the fire.

Wishing you a very happy lunar new year! If, like me, you always feel a little behind the clock, know that energy doesn’t arrive and leave in one moment but transitions gradually, over weeks. The energy may be becoming fast and intense but the body, mind, spirit needs time to catch up.

If you’re feeling the urge to cleanse or reset your space, honour that.

What are you letting go of?

Please be really careful with the fire and make sure everything is cool before touching.

“Where should my bed go?” The most common Feng Shu “Where should my bed go?” The most common Feng Shui question I get, and one of the most important. 🛏️

Bedrooms can feel like Tetris, especially in tight spaces. If you want sweeter sleep and better energy, 👉 Swipe through these Feng Shui principles to see if your bed placement might be blocking your energy and where best to place your bed.

A reader asked: Is it ok to have my bed facing a window?

Some might say that facing a window is ‘bad Feng Shui’ because energy comes in quickly through openings. However, it’s much better to face a window than opposite a door. As long as the window has thick curtains or blinds and no broken window panes or leaks. If it feels fine to you, then it is.

Wherever possible, aim for:

☑️ Solid wall behind the bed → stability & support

☑️ Door in sight, but not directly in line with bed → ease + safety

☑️ Window to the side (curtains help) → avoid windows behind your head

☑️ Equal space on both sides → energy flow & relationship balance

If your layout isn’t perfect, that’s okay, there’s always ways to optimise and what’s important is that it feels good *to YOU*

As I hit a block finalising Rhizo Home for Feng Sh As I hit a block finalising Rhizo Home for Feng Shui consultations, I chose to practice what I preach. I turned to my space for help (and maybe a distraction)

A mini home office revamp with a fancy standing desk from @desktronic (love the khaki green) Even though I'm breaking Feng Shui 101 by facing a wall, I added another desk so my assistant and I can work together in this busy stretch.

The larger desk has upgraded my entire outlook on my work. Btw if you have the IKEA Alex desk it’s not deep enough to support your arms!

Now i’ve got the desk sorted, a new chair is next. I decided on orangey pink (before getting the green desk) but being painfully indecisive about the shade. Which one would you choose?(last pic)

I’m doing a full Feng Shui anatomy of a desk (a great place to start with intentional design) and how to set it up in your favour. Sign up to the Fresh Shui newsletter to get it. Link in bio.
